Theory Test Application

Theory Test Application can be made in three different ways, by Telephone, via the Internet or by Post.

By Telephone, the number is: 0300200112211

You will need:
A pen and paper to take down the reference number and theory test details, time, date and location of test centre.
Your provisional driving licence number.
A credit or debit card to pay.

You can pay for your Theory Test using any of the following: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Electron, Delta or Solo debit or credit cards.

The Theory Test can also be booked on the internet at:
www.direct.gov.uk/drivingtest

The Theory Test by post:
Ask your instructor for an application form or you can collect a form from the Driving Test Centre. Payment method is either by cheque or postal order.
